| Mission |
| The mission of the Alabama Practice Based CME Network is to facilitate physician practice improvement and maintenance of competence in order to improve adult health in Alabama.
This mission will be accomplished by:
- Building educational relationships with Alabama primary care physicians to provide services relevant to community practice
- Providing evidence-based educational content and practice improvement resources to facilitate self assessment
- Employing evidence-based educational interventions and evaluating their impact

| Purpose |
- Provide educational opportunities and access to resources that will assist Alabama physicians in caring for complex adult patients
- Provide practice-focused CME tailored to needs expressed by individual physicians
- Support efforts of QIO’s and others to improve performance on process level health indicators
